The Newquay Safe Partnership is a multi-agency group established on 28 July 2009 to address the many complex and varied issues that Newquay is currently facing. The partnership consists of 25 officers and members from 15 different Cornwall Council services and partner agencies that include:
1. Cornwall Council
2. Devon and Cornwall Constabulary
3. NHS Health Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT)
4. Visit Cornwall
5. Tourism Newquay
6. Newquay Town Council
7. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service
The Cornwall Council services that are involved in the partnership include:
Anti social behaviour team, Communications service, Community Safety, Environment service, Legal, Licensing service, Newquay and Cornwall Tourism, Safeguarding Children service, Town Centre Manager Trading Standards and the Youth Service.
The Newquay Safe partnership is working with other organisations in Newquay including Newquay Association of Licensed Premises (NALP), Newquay Off Licenses Group (NOLG), Residents Associations, Press and other local businesses.
