Escape Surf School

The Escape Surf school is based in central Newquay, on the premises of St Christophers Inn overlooking Newquay bay & Towan Beach. We are a British Surfing Association (BSA) level 4 surf school which is the highest level achievable for a UK surf school. All our instructors are fully qualified BSA Surf Coaches, CRB checked & Beach Lifeguards.

We usually run 2 lessons per day and we surf on either Towan, Great Western or Fistral beach depending upon the tides and conditions of the day, all of which are a couple of minutes walk from the surf school.

The cost includes all equipment and we have a heated, secure changing room, hot showers, hot tub, bar and restaurant on site.
We teach all levels of surfing from complete beginners, through to advanced and contest surfers. Our head coach has over 25 years surfing experience and is currently  ranked in the UK top 10
As well as offering surf instruction, we also can arrange your accommodation as we offer inclusive packages from budget hostel accommodation, luxury hotel, B&B and self catering.

We are open all year round and all are welcome, from individuals to families and large groups. We also offer gift Vouchers for all our courses and packages
