Swimming
Whilst there is nothing better than that holiday swim in our inviting ocean, Newquay has several options for enjoying splashing about in the water away from the sea.
There are two water parks offering a 50m pool, toddler pools and fun pools between them. Oasis at the Hendra Holiday Park is on the outskirts of Newquay and is open to non residents; all sessions have to be prebooked online. With its large water flumes, sea scooters, snorkelling, and a dedicated toddler splash time it’s great fun for all the family, rain or shine.
Remember, when swimming in the sea it is always best to choose a beach with lifeguards and always take notice of their instructions and any signs or flags. Newquay’s main beaches have lifeguards from May to September during the day and are always marked out with flags for the safe swimming areas.
