1) Go on an Easter Egg Hunt!

This exciting new event will take place on the Killacourt on Sunday 31st March 2024, brought to you by Newquay Town Council Events and Visit Newquay.

Children can participate in an Easter egg hunt and trail, with a chocolate egg and prize for every child. Bust out your best dance moves at the children's disco by the Bandstand. Enjoy garden games on the Killacourt.

This fun-filled Easter event is completely FREE for families and children of all ages. Bring your little bunnies down for egg hunts, games, dancing, and seasonal fun!

Easter Town Trail

Can you help the Easter Bunny find the missing Easter eggs? Visit Newquay and Newquay BID will be running its annual Easter Town Trail from 29th March to the 14th April! Collect your clue sheet at the Visit Newquay Tourist Information Centre to solve the clues and claim your Easter treat! 

Golden Rock Hunt

There will also be an Easter Rock Hunt where gold rocks will be hidden around Newquay. If you are lucky enough to find one take it to the Visit Newquay Tourist Information Centre, TR7 1BD in exchange for a chocolate Easter egg.

2) Go for a walk on Holywell Beach

One of our favourite beaches… A mile of golden sand surrounded by impressive sand dunes. You can have a fun adventure day down at Holywell Bay Beach! This beach is also a prime location for filming, so who knows you could even get a glimpse of the latest series.

3) Visit One of the Family Friendly Attractions around Newquay

Over the Easter holidays, many of the attractions are putting on lots of EGGciting Easter activities! Please see below a list of some attractions and just click on them for more information.

4) Treat yourself to some Fish and Chips by the sea!

Treat yourself to some of the best fish and chips around before you start on your Easter eggs. Go down to Rick Steins Fistral and enjoy the perfect view whilst you eat, overlooking Fistral Beach.

5) Take a Trip to Newquay Harbour

Explore one of Newquay’s Hidden Gems and take a wander down to Newquay Harbour. Watch the fisherman bring in their catch and if the tide is in you might see one of the harbour residents (Sammy the Seal) following behind.
