Frequently stone built with a real traditional feel, cottages can come in all sizes and styles from the large detached properties to the smaller terraced town house style. Some can be completely refurbished with a real modern feel or others can retain their original charm and quaintness with exposed beams, multi-fuel stoves and parquet flooring. Some can be more modern properties built in the ‘cottage or farmhouse style’ whilst others are truly the original stone built dwellings of a workforce in industries long gone.
