Restaurants
Newquay has a wide selection of restaurants to suit most tastes, including a number of fine dining establishments among them.
With our coastal location and a small fishing ‘fleet’ based at the harbour, seafood features highly on many menu’s. Featuring the ‘catch of the day’ in some cases some delicious fish dishes feature, among others, the local mackerel, sardines and sole or the luxury of fresh caught lobster and crab.
Virtually every Newquay beach has a restaurant nearby. Several of the larger hotels offer a fine dining experience with renowned chefs at the helm; these include Silks at the Atlantic Hotel and the two restaurants at the Headland Hotel.
It’s not all about fish dishes and Masterchef style cuisine though; traditional Carvery’s, steak houses and hearty pub style meals are easy to find. Variation and cuisine from around the world are very much part of the dining experience in Newquay. Alongside Indian and Chinese options there is also Mexican, Thai, Portugese and Greek cuisines and many more to enjoy.
