A Christmas Market Marquee in our wonderful coastal town!​

For 2024 we're joining forces with Newquay Farmers Market and LOVE Newquay to host a wonderful Market Marquee on the Killacourt from Friday the 29th of November to Sunday the 1st of December. The event ties in with the town Christmas lights switch on, fireworks and celebrations hosted by Newquay town council and the last weekend of the Be Newquay Festival.

What to Expect

Wonderful Creators + Curators

The Market will showcase a changing line up of the very best traders across each day meaning it's worth returning every day. Expect seasonal gifts & treats, contemporary craft, art & design, sustainable home & lifestyle wares, vintage finds and artisan food & drink.

Good Vibes + Music + More

The Market Marquee will host a full programme of live music and entertainment. Friday night join in the lights switch on celebrations and fireworks or come along on the Saturday and Sunday for lots more festive fun, Christmas crafts, disco and Santa's Grotto.

Local Food + Drink + Streetfood

The Market is co-hosted with Newquay Farmers Market so expect the tastiest Cornish treats & tipples and head along on Sunday for the best local produce & fresh supplies. With a town council hosted bar across the weekend and street food for the Friday night it's set to be delicious.

Will Eason & Joe Hurworth Band on the bandstand 5pm

Lights Switch On followed by Fireworks 6.45pm

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boys on the bandstand 6.50pm

Saturday the 30th of November:

Christmas Market 10am - 6pm

Festive Wreath Workshop in the marquee 10am - midday (Festival Fiver BOOKING LINK COMING SOON) as part of the Be Newquay Festival

Darcie Allbrighton in the marquee 12.30pm

Joe Hurworth in the marquee 1.45pm

Bow River in the marquee 3pm

Kids Festive Disco in the marquee 4.30pm

​Sunday the 1st of December:

Drop in FREE Christmas Crafts in the marquee 10am - 3pm as part of the Be Newquay Festival

Christmas Market with Fresh Produce 10am - 3pm

Santa's Grotto in the marquee from 10.30am

​PLUS lots more activities taking part across the town as part of the Be Newquay Festival, including the amazing Alma Arts weekend.
