Look at Newquay town centre through new eyes. Join this immersive evening experience which combines dance, theatre, sound installation and projection. Coinciding with the super full moon, you will be invited to explore spaces in the town centre that have been transformed and co-created with local people, bringing stories of Newquay’s community to life.
Created by Rob Mennear, artistic director of GRIT, founder of All Boys Dance, freelance practitioner and dance artist. More detail will be announced nearer the time.
To The Moon & Back is part of Be Newquay Festival - a new season of events, activities and workshops that celebrate Newquay’s culture and creative spirit. Throughout each weekend in November, the festival will be taking place at various venues across the town. Discover the full festival programme here.
The Be Newquay Festival has been curated by Cornwall Council project ‘Experience Newquay’ in collaboration with local project partners, Love Newquay and Visit Newquay. It is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
