About
Newquay Community Orchard is a beautiful 7-acre community space for all ages and all species.
Built with the help of over 600 volunteers from the town and designed to provide a bit of nature therapy, environmental education, community events or just a space for some peace and quiet, Newquay’s wonderfully biodiverse ‘not so secret garden’ is a sanctuary for everyone.
Come and explore 3 acres of young Cornish apple orchard; picnic in a forest garden; walk along our beautiful fruit espalier; see what’s sprouting in An Lowarth, the community grow space; and meet the diverse animals that call it home, from the Orchard’s solitary bees to the stunning resident kestrel who visits every week.
The Orchard is open to everyone, any time. Come and see it for yourself.
