Smile was established in 1969. Starting as a small operation, offering surf shorts, shirts, dresses, sun hats & surf beads, all of which we made ourselves.
We were inspired by the American 'Surfer Magazine', from which we developed our own products for the budding surfing market.
Smile is still owned & run by its founders, the only one left of the original handful of shops dedicated to promoting surfing and the surf culture.
Smile is proud to have been involved in both the promoting and sponsorship of the introduction to International Surfing Events to Newquay.
