Newqay Harbour for a dip in the sea in aid of CLIC!

When cancer strikes young lives CLIC helps families limit the damage cancer causes beyond their health. We know that for young lives, when the doctor says cancer, normal life stops. Cancer affects every part of life – relationships, confidence, money, school, work.

Cancer doesn’t discriminate. Every day, 11 more children and young people will hear the devastating news that they have cancer. From diagnosis, CLIC specialist care teams will step in, ready to help, support and guide. They will provide a specialist package of support tailored to each young cancer patient and family.

CLIC fights tirelessly for children and young people with cancer, often when they feel they can’t. We do this individually, locally and nationally, so that they can focus on the important things, like getting well. And if the worst happens, we will work with bereaved families to get them support, to help them cope with their emotional pain.

So, don’t pack away those speedos, tankinis or bathing attire just yet!!!

Newquay CLIC Fundraising Group looking for dare-devils in Cornwall to take the plunge into the Atlantic Ocean on New Year’s Day! Join us at Newquay Harbour, wade in and blow away those cobwebs on 1st January start 2025 by doing something amazing for this wonderful charity! Fancy dress welcome!!

If you cannot bring yourself to wade into water that may be somewhat chilly, wrap yourselves up well, fill your pockets and purses with cash and get to Newquay Harbour to throw money into the CLIC Sargent collecting buckets and cheer on those who do dare face the crazy challenge.
Entry fee is £** per person – although you could raise much more by getting yourself sponsored.
